Andy has many years experience of working with children and adults with moderate and severe learning disability including 15 years as the primary carer of his disabled daughter Lara. He has worked both professionally and voluntarily with parents, families, teachers and carers individually and in schools, care homes and support groups.
He runs a six-session course entitled "A Holistic Approach to Care" designed for carers and parents. He currently teaches this course perpetually at Daneswood Care Home for Young Adults in Shipham, Somerset.
He embraces much of the Anthroposophical approach of Rudolf Steiner in his teaching and emphasises facilitating people with disability to explore and fulfil their true potential.
